Best cruise line / Northern Europe / Not too expensive
We usually cruise on RCCL or Celebrity, but there are such DEALS on NCL in Northern Europe that I am thinking about trying it. (We cruised on NCL about 15 yrs ago and it was nothing special, but it was a VERY old ship.) We will have an 83 and 88 year old along with us and an NCL suite is much less than other lines balconies, so I wonder if that is the way to go. We typically like conservative, traditional cruises so I am in a quandry!!! Comments from the experienced, please. Thanks all.
What time of year is this "cheap" cruise? NCL runs their Baltic season longer than others. A few years back their first sailing became a North Sea instead of Baltic Sea cruise due to ice remaining in Baltic. If this cruise is in July or August and you get at least two days in St Petersburg, it is worth considering if it is that much cheaper. Personally, I prefer anytime dining especially on a port intensive cruise.
