We called into Nanortalik (??) a few years ago & were also concerned that no tours are ever offered in Greenland. However we had a great time as all the locals opened up their village to us & were very happy to show us their lifestyles. The small village also had plenty of history with various 'touch & ask' museums showing how the villages survived throughout the centuries (well 2 centuries).
The local school also laid on displays of traditional dance, song & music.
Ok so it's not a place we'd want to visit more than a couple of times, but for a one-off we were very relieved.
