Paris from LaHavre
What kind of visit to Paris can you have from LaHavre? Looks like the travel time is over 2 hours each way. That wouldn't leave much time in the city of lights.

I was going to say 'a short one' ;) Actually, I think you'd still get 4 or 5 hours there, just don't do anything silly like line up for the Eiffel tower for two hours. Paris is probably my favourite city, but I'm not sure if I'd do it from Le Havre, it's a long way. But if this is your only trip that you might get to see Paris, do it..it's worth it.

It makes a long day of it Paris needs a week to do it justice
Stop over in London for a week then on to Paris just so much to see. :) |
I'm in a group doing the Carnival Legend Norwegian cruise next year and a few in the group wish to debark in LeHarve. Might as well since it's the final port of the cruise and they will get a jump start on the continent. I was told there is a shuttle from the pier to the train station (5-Euros) and from there connections to Paris. That should be good for day trippers or those debarking. I'm sure the day trippers need to be on the early trains if they are brave enough to do that!
