Default Padua & Pisani Villa

Is it worth the time away from Venice to take the Princess tour to Padua & Pisani Villa? We will arrive about noon one day and leave Venice 2:00 the next. We've signed up for this tour the day we arrive. It leaves at 12:30 and gets back in plenty of time to have an evening gondola ride. Then we have the next day to explore on our own till 2:00. Should we proceed as planned?

Default Re: Padua & Pisani Villa

I have been to the area several times as I have relatives in Rimini. Padua is a nice day trip IF you have been to Venice before and have "seen" and "done" it previously. If not, I would rather spend the time in Venice than a good part of the day in transit, to see Pauda. I don't know anything about the Pisani Villa, however.
