I am picking up our docs on Monday. I have heard some of the ship's tours can be crowded. It takes a lot of time for the buses to load.
I have been searching the web for ideas on tours. Mostly interested in doing something in Rome. So much to see and so little time.
We are from Atlanta and are going to London for 4 days, Barcelona for 2 and then boarding the ship
Dave and Janet: just got back from 8-11 Millie sailing. We did independent tours, which worked out fine. I can give you some names and e-mail addresses if you want to inquire, we had an excllent guide in Rome, and made it to alot of places the buses don't get to because of time. My biggest thrill in Rome was seeing the Bernini sculptures in the Borghese Gallery...just magnificent. we also have a good reference for you for Athens and Istanbul (if your cruise takes you there). Guides we had in Rome and Istanbul are professors (one a Dr.) of art history at the local universities. Let me know if I can help. Barb
