We will be taking a cruise from Amsterdam to Vik, back down and up again to St. Petersburg and end up in Copenhagen. We want to know which line to use, what the weather is like, any good deals as far as rates, special places to see, things to avoid, etc. Please let us know. Thank you.
In Saint Petersburg you'll want to see the Hermitage Museum. The summer palace in Peterhof has fantastic fountains and is very popular with tourists. Catherine Place in Pushkin is beautiful. A stroll down Nevsky Prospect would be good. That is the heart of the city. There is really a lot to see and do.
With probably only 2 days in Saint Petersburg, I recommend you hire your own guide and driver. I know a few excellent guides who can take good care of you. If you want info, email me (Ed) at firstname.lastname@example.org
