I've been to Naples a couple times (including recently). I highly recommend a tour that takes you to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coastal Drive. They are fabulous and made for one of the best days of my life. Pompeii is a GIGANTIC, highly organized city and it is amazing. See the villas, corpses, frescoes, brothel and you'll learn so much. The Amalfi Coastal Drive buses you right along the edge of a cliff reaching up to an elevation of 4,000 ft. where you'll pass forts that used to watch out for pirates, lemon groves, cities with amazing bays, and lovely architecture.

Hello - I saw your note in another posting. My husband and I will be sailing this August on Brilliance of the Seas (Can't wait !) I'd be happy to share our experiences with you upon our return.

In the meantime, reading these postings are so helpful. I really do appreciate everyone's input (good or bad) about their experiences !!

By the way, you're welcome to email us with any questions about any other cruises (especially in the Caribbean islands). We cruised about 8-9 times now.

Take care and keep countin' the days !!!

Tammy.

I see that Splendor does this cruise through October also. Is October to cool/rainy for this itinerary? We're trying to work it out for September, but we're running into a lot of conflicts. Thanks in advance.
