You are actually okay heat wise up until the 2nd week of July and then again from mid September. But no later than early October is it can get wet and a bit chilly
To be totally on a Greek cruise, your choice is very limited and usually only available from Greek lines, most of which I could not recommend
Yes, you may get a couple of Greek ports, Santorini, Rhodes, Corfu, etc from the "traditional lines" But maybe only one or two days out of say ten days in Greece. The rest will be Rome, Venice, Barcelona, the general Med or Caspian waters
Only the Greek lines specialise in totally Greece. But for the mass market look at ships offering the Eastern Med, which could be a mix of Greece and Turkey plus traditional Med ports

Who spent 15 years vacationing on Greek islands before discovering cruising, cant say it was a waste!!
We're going on May 2 - Grand Princess 12 days. It's very port intensive, only one sea day. We booked about 2 weeks ago and found many of the cruises were pretty solidly booked already.
We are on Celebrity- Mostly Greece and Turkey July 25th. I have also found that many of the trips were booked. I chose this ship because I have enjoyed Celebrity before and I have already done the general Med.
