Default Disembarking in Athens?

For anyone that has done it, we're supposed to dock at 6:00am and I'd like to make an 11:20 flight to Santorini, is that out of the question, doable?

the port is a pretty busy place in the morning and I don't know in which direction the airport is from the port (I've gone airport to hotel..hotel to port..but never port to airport)

as a backup..there is a high speed hydro plane that goes to Santorini and it leaves at 700 in the morning so you might explore that as a back up

I'm going to Santorini in October so have fun and enjoy one of my two favorite places on earh

Default to the airport

you will have no problem.
it is about a 45min taxi ride to the airport from the port.
you can catch a taxi without problem outside the port area.
if not the radio taxi number is 210.921.7942.

Letue...The high speed hydro foil, departs from a different port then the Port of Pireaus where the regular ferrys and cruise ships depart from...I'm not sure what time the return trip is on the hydro foil..the regular ferry takes between 6-8 hours because it makes at least two other stops..The hydro foil takes about 3-4 hours
I'll do some research for you thru a friend of mine in Santorini..do me a favor send me a "pm" about this so I could put it in my follow up folder

Santorini is the type of island that you would want to spend at least an evening and a day. The cruise ships stop of a few hours really does not allow you to enjoy the beauty of it. If you have a choice with a cruise ship stop, take the one that has an evening stop. The most beautiful sunset in the world (IMHO) is on Santorini
