Default Airport Hilton Rome

I may stay at the Rome Airport Hilton one day before a cruise out of Civitavecchia. Then either take a limo to the ship or go back to the airport and get transfers from Holland America to the ship. Anyone have info on that Hilton? How far is it from the airport.

I could also just take a limo straight to Civitavecchia when we land, but I heard there are no decent hotels in Civitavecchia. Is that true?

BTW... transfers from Hal to the ship from the airport are $168 for two people. I suspect a limo will be cheaper.

FBlack,

Probably not. There's a reason why the transfers cost that much. Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, in Fiumicino, is not exactly near the cruise pier in Civitavecchia.

Norm.
