Default Transatlantic with kids?

My mother has booked a transatlantic cruise for this November on RCCL's Navigator of The Seas. I am very tempted to go along with her, the only things holding me back are my two daughters...they will be 9 months old and four years old at the time of the cruise. Has anyone done this before? I've already emailed RCCL to see if the Aquababies and Aquanauts programs will be offered on this sailing and I am waiting for a response. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!!!

That itinerary actually should be great for travel with children. The four year old will be able to participate in the children's program. The nine month old will be too young, but any adult can take the nine month old to the children's center to play so long as the adult remains there.

In many ways, a transatlantic cruise would be a great choice for travel with children because the pace is a lot more laid back than, for example, a normal European cruise where most passengers are off on full day tours whenever the ship is in port. Just ensure that you have an adequate supply of diapers, baby wipes, formula, etc., for the crossing so you won't run out of such necessities in the middle of the ocean!

Norm.
