Greece ports
In october I will be visiting the ports of Rhodes, Mykonos , patmos and Kusadasi (turkey) via seabourn cruise. Can anyone tell me how convenient public transporation (taxi, shuttle, bus) is to where you disembark from the ship?

I have not been there on Seabourn but most ports are walkable to the city
Maybe Seabourn includes excursions I am not sure but if not
Rhodes you can walk to the walled city or take a tour to Lindos, rent a car & see the island if you have the time
Mykonos depends on where they dock you can walk to the main town & windmills

Kusadasi is within walking distance for the port but make the trip to Ephesus there is a shuttle now (for a fee) or book a private guide ahead of time
Patmos ..go to the monastery we did the ships tour there it was high up on the hill but the town was within walking distance

In Patmos, Is the St Johns Monastery accessible via taxi (rather than climbing the hill)? I am assuming that most organized tours, even those thru ship, just drop you off at bottom then walk up the hill/stairs to the monastery.

I am pretty sure they dropped us close to the entrance but it was a few years since we were there

I am sure a taxi would get you there also
Looked at the website & they say there is a bus

Be sure not to miss the Treasury there is a fee but worth it

Thank you so much, I had no idea there was a bus that would take me to the top. Saves a lot of climbing up stairs.
