Lightbulb Rotterdam hotel

We have changed our minds and are getting on the Oasis of the Seas in Rotterdam rather than Southampton. Any recommendations for a good hotel in Rotterdam with shuttle service to the cruise port. Thanks

Why would you stay in Rotterdam when Amsterdam and Brussels are both short train trips away. I would fly into Amsterdam, spend some time, and then take train to Rotterdam day of sailing; or fly into Brussels and do the same.

Right on the cruise terminal in Rotterdam you will find Hotel New York. It was once the headoffice of Holland America.
On the opposite side of the river you will find the simple but good hotel Maritime. More or less its neighbour is the Tulip Inn. Next to the Erasmusbridge - also on the other side of the river is the Golden Tulip Hotel.
Those hotels are more or less walking distance from the terminal.
In town you will find a.,o. Hilton, Westin and plenty of other hotels.
As far as I know no hotel has a shuttle.
Check this website of the tourist board for more details:

We have made our reservation for the Hotel New York on 10/13/14 prior to getting on the Oasis of the Seas the next to sail back to Florida.
