Default Turkish Airlines to Venice

Has anyone flown Turkish Airlines? They have some really good prices to Venice. If so, what did you think? Also has anyone stayed in Istanbul? What are your thoughts?

Any input would be great

Turkish airlines is a fair airlines, depending of the class of service, check out SeatGuru.com for details on every flight.
Concerning Istanbul, It's a great City and you will be amazed, the public transportation is also very good, you can get very reasonable passes for all public transport.
Also, look into GOOGLE TRANSLATE, absolutely fantastic for International travel, you can speak into your smart phone/tablet and it will translate in written form, then hit the audio and it will pronounce for you in English, you can also reverse the translations, to allow a person to actually communicate with you in there native language.

Google Maps is also a great travel tool, you can use GPS and find any destination in most Countries, it will also give you details on what tram or train number to catch with a time table and tram/train number to catch.
If your walking, it will provide short cuts and arrows from point A to point B.

Use YouTube to watch video's to get details on how to purchase tickets, validate passes etc., on everything from the airports, trains, buses cruise port transfer.

Spend some time reviewing the information.

Remember a good traveler is a smart traveler, it's all about research and adapting to every moment as needed to continue on your adventures.

Thanks so much for the information. Turkish Airlines is new to Houston so haven't heard much about it. Everything from google looks positive. Its flight looks like it is the best fit for what we want to do. I am also excited about going to Istanbul, but was concerned because my two daughters would be with me.

Turkish Airlines is fairly new to Houston, and the prices are about 1/2 of the other airlines. Only thing is we have a 1 day layover in Istanbul, so I thinking of adding a couple of days there
