Carnival Triumph 11/17/01

Hi,

Can anyone that has been on this ship, please give me some insite on it? Anything that you liked or disliked? We are booked on the Upper Deck with
a balcony suite..hope that will sleep four. Thanks everyone!

I assume that since you posted your question on the family message board, you will be cruising on the Carnival Triumph. If so, you might be interested in some information about Carnival's youth program. I'm the new family cruise editor for CruiseMates.com and recently wrote, "Best Kids' Programs? Ask a Kid!" posted on the family cruise section. The article has a section on Camp Carnival. I cruised with my then six-year-old daughter last year on the Carnival Destiny (sister ship to Triumph) and she really enjoyed the youth program. I was very impressed with the fun family activities that Carnival has aboard all its ships too.

I sailed on the Triumph in a category 8 (standard room with a balcony). I wasn't sure if you meant that cabin or a larger one, but the cat. 8 will fit four people. The cat. 6 is actually quite a bit larger, but it doesn't have a balcony.

Hi Cindy,
My husband & I cruised on the Triunph last November and just booked two - 4a cabins for us and our 2 boys ages 14 & 15 on Triumph 11/17/01.We loved the cruise last year. The shows were good, as was the entertainment in general. Really enjoyed the sing a long bar. Lots of fun. The food was good, but our waiter could have been a liitle more attentive. The rooms were comfortable. We were in a 6a cabin last time with pull down beds (which we didn't need). Would have been enough room for all 4 of us this year but none were available when we booked. Since you are looking for 4 in a room I assume you are traveling with kids. What are the ages? Hope this helps.
