Default Christmas Cruise

Hi. We have never been on a cruise But we're interested in going on a Christmas cruise and/or summer cruise to the Caribbean. Our three daughters are 20, 18, and 14. My husband and I are 40+. Could you please tell us what the best ship would be for us? Also, where do you get the best rates?

Thanks in advance.
Gloria :-)

Hi Gloria,
Wow, there are so many good ships, but having recently been on RCCL's Explorer, I'd consicer either Explorer/Voyager or the new Adventure of the Seas when traveling with a small group as yours. There is virtually something for everyone, actually almost too much to do, I needed another 7 days to get through all the things I wanted to try.

Once you do all decide on a ship you can post in the "bargain finder" here at cruisemates to get some prices. Travel agents will e-mail you with what they have, its grea and simple, good luck and happy cruising:

Carnival has really good prices. My fmaily and i are going on the triumph Christmas time (actually we are leaving in 2 days) but they are good prcies. You can get 2 rooms if you wanted to. One for your daughters and one for you and your husband. Carnival says that if you are under 21 you have to have someone over 25 in your room, but when we booked our cruise, my kids 17 and 20 got their own room and Carnival allowed that.

happy cruising
