Default No cartoons on Golden

Just back from Golden - there are no cartoons on the tv channels and the channels that are available are not very kid friendly. We had a mini-suite and the 2 tv's also had NO audio/video inputs so we couldn't do the tape in the camcorder routine either. 8 yr old went through serious cartoon withdrawal!!!

Maybe you'll want to try one of the Disney ships next time. Plenty of Disney channel shows on t.v., naturally!
Smooth sailing,

Why do you have to be 8 to go through cartoon withdrawl? I can't get through my week without Sponge Bob, Cat Dog, Dora the explorer, not to mention Scoobee Doo. I'm never taking another Princess cruise again until they can guarantee at least re runs
of Little Bill , Rug Rats and Clifford the big red Dog.

With family cruising as one of the fastest growing cruise markets, there SHOULD be more family channels as an alternative. Sponge Bob Rules! Hopefully though our kids won't be in the cabin too much except for sleeping on the Explorer. The break from tv shouldn't be TOO bad. They're already excited about the kiddie pool.

Luisa, the added cost of a Disney cruise is not worth it. And we have done Disney - not worth the extra.
The kids are in the cabin in the morning and while everyone is getting ready for dinner - the kiddie pool is no help then. Most of the choices on the TV were not what I wanted him to watch - at any time. I was really sick of hearing Sponge Bob recited - he has them ALL memorized. lol
