Default Cruise out of Galveston

Does anyone have any experince with traveling out of Galveston on RCL and Carnival? Specifically, the RCL that goes to Cayman, OCho Rios and Cozumel. Just wanted to know how rough the waters and the conditon of the ships.

Default Re: Cruise out of Galveston

My husband and I went on the "Celebration" out of Galveston just a few months ago (June 17-22, 2002) and we loved it. Neither of us had been on a cruise before. We were impressed with how stable the ship was, how clean the staff kept everything, how good the food was, variety of entertainment, etc... We were on our honeymoon and left our four boys at home with our ex's but really wanted to take the boys on a cruise also in the near future. There were a lot of kids on our ship. They seemed to be having a great time!

We went on the Cozumel, Calica tour. I recommend snorkeling and scuba diving if you can. Though you can do those activities anywhere it was fascinating to see the animal life in the clear blue water.

Hope you try it out!
