We are going on the Carnival Inspiration on 2/09/03 sailing out of Tampa with our 16 year old daughter.
My question is, are there any teens even is school season??
And if you know something about this ship please let me know!
Thanks!
Hi Mitzy:
One can never guarantee that there will be kids/teens of a certain again when you are cruising during school time. However, if any cruise line will have teens aboard then it'll probably be Carnival! (They carry the most kids/teens of any cruise line.) We cruised Carnival in early November a few years ago (Carnival Destiny) and there were plenty of grade school children for my then 6 year old daughter to play with.
We'd love to hear about your cruise upon your return.
Smooth sailing,
Luisa Frey Gaynor
Went on the Inspiration last summer with my teen daughter. School was out so LOTS of kids, but I'm sure there will be other teens this time of year. Many people pull their kids out of school for vacations to avoid the crowds. We enjoyed the Inspiration. It's a flashy boat. Some of the decorating may tip on the gaudy side to some. Very clean. HUGE. A couple thousand people, but could always find a quiet alone spot . LOTS and LOTS to do. It's just plain fun. Just like they say.
I will be sailing on the Inspiration 12-15-02, and will let you know what I think of this ship. Don't have real high expectations after being on the Grand Princess, and 11-02-02 sailing on the Explorer, but the price is right!
