We'll be cruising on Carnival Elation, parents and two kids, ages 13 and 6. I'd like to find out how much is the soda card and is it worth the money. If we have a tea, milk and OJ with a room service, do we pay extra for all the drinks? What about Tiffany's and dining room? Do I need to get a Sign and Sail card for 13yo?
Appreciate your help.
My son and I cruised on the Jubilee over New Year's. It was a five day cruise and I did buy him a soda card, $15.00. I'm sure its a bit more for a longer cruise, I have heard in the neighborhood of $20.00. In the dining room or casual dining area, milk, tea, juice are free, but sodas do cost and you are also charged a tip per soda. It was well worth it for him to have the soda card, not only for dinner time, but anytime he wanted to get a soda during the day. Most sodas were $1.50 plus tip every time you got one, so it definitely saved some money, especially if your child likes their soda!
