it says in the news hear that the conquest might be moved to gulfport if a power line is not moved. we are thinking about booking a cruise on the conquest and wondered 1. where Gulfport is and 2. if it is likely to be moved. thanks for the information.

Yes, you did hear right. Carnival is considering moving the ship to Gulfport, Miss. if the power line can't be raised high enough above the Miss. River in the New Orleans area. They're trying to rectify the situation so you may want to hold tight before making your reservation.
