Hi Sandie,
Yes...we did chat about San Francisco parking.
Don't be nervous about the kids...they will have a great time. This will be my daughter's 4 cruise and she has never been bored. She is very outgoing and always meets lots of kids around her age. Since the ship itinerary is to be in a different port almost every day (with one day at sea), you will probably take your kids ashore during the day.
These are great places to go and sightsee with the kids ,i.e. , Monterey...the Aquarium and Cannery Row (even taking a short cab ride to Carmel), San Diego (the Zoo, Sea World, and tons of other places), Catalina Island (great for renting a golf cart and seeing the island), Santa Barbara (I have never been there, but here it is a very nice place). The only port that I have been to which is nothing special is Ensenada, MX. It is OK for buying Meican gifts, but that is really about it.
At night, the kids will have their own program and activities, or they can come with you if they enjoy shows and movies, etc. I'm sure by the end, they won't want to leave!
If there is any other information you need, feel free to e-mail me back at:

Maybe we can meet on the cruise.
Take care!
