Kids and the "sign & sail" cards

We are sailing on the Golden Princess and taking the kids with us for the first time. Question how do the ship board accounts work with the kids? Do they get their own card? Can you put a cash limit on it or is it tied to the parents charge account?

I'd suggest getting the kids a soda card, so they can get fountain drinks, and then having no charges available on their cards.

Really like Kuki's idea, should work well for the kids. If you must have their cards tied to your credit cards, yes you can put limits on them.

thanks for the advise. We are planning on getting the soda sticker for the kids cards, and putting some sort of no balance/no charge available on their cards.
