Default 4/18/03 Brillliance of the Seas

My family of five is looking for other families to provide companionship, joint beach excursions, etc.

We have a seven year old girl, a five year old boy and a sixteen year old daughter.

Also, does anyone have any experience with the kids club on this ship?
Do they take groups of the younger ones to the nightclub acts (while my husband and I dine in style at the late seating?) or tours of the ship, etc? On our Easter sailing last year on the Sea Princess (great ship!) the kids were stuck inside the whole time unless I took them out! My seven year old hated it! and doesn't want to go on this cruise!

Mary:
I'm the family cruise editor here. My 9 year old daughter has been on 13 cruises and actually she loved the Royal Caribbean youth program and has deemed it the best youth program at sea. Granted, while they do tend to keep the kids inside a lot, they do have very active games, etc for the kids. My daughter likes non-stop action and she got it! We sailed on the Adventure of the Seas but the Brilliance also has a rock climbing wall and kids pool area, both which my daughter enjoyed. It's a lovely ship. Royal Caribbean also has a separate teen disco/hang out room for your teen. I think you'll have a great time.
Smooth sailing,
Luisa Frey Gaynor
