cunard

Has anyone brought children on any of the cunard cruises and if so was there enough to keep the kids entertained???? I am wondering if the QM2 will be too formal for children.

I just spoke to my contacts at Cunard last week and they are having their annual family cruise on July 16 (Southampton to NYC) which sounds really great. They will have THE MUPPETS on board to entertain as well as animator Peter Lord who created "Chicken Run". While the QE2 does have a nursery for little ones and a youth program for older kids and teens, the Queen Mary 2, which will set sail in January, will have even more extensive youth facilities and thus will probably attract more kids than QE2. The Queen Mary 2 sounds like quite the ship!

Wow -- glad to hear you went ahead with the Cunard cruise. Did you book the family cruise or another crossing? Please let me know what you thought upon your return since Cunard is one of the few cruise lines with a youth program that we haven't sailed on.

I am taking my 11 year old son with me on the carribean cruise in march and will definitely post the children's activities. I am sure he will be entertained. m
