They changed our dinner time

Yikes. We just received our packet for a RCI Vision of the Seas June cruise and somehow we are now assigned to the late seating. We have two preschoolers so this won't work. The rep said main seating was now closed but if we talk to the maitre d the first evening "it should not be a problem". Is this true or am i getting the runaround. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks

Same thing happened to us last year on Infinity, so we did see the Madre'd first thing and did get assigned to early dinner, you shouldn't have a problem.

It really shouldn't be a problem, just get to see the Maitre D right away. I would also have your TA call the cruise line and bug them for a re-assignment just for your own peace of mind.

Generally there is a spot where the matre 'd is during embarkation time to try to fix mishaps like yours. Ask the guest relations desk as soon as you get on board where to go and get in line. We have had that happen too and they corrected it.
