Afraid of heights- problem on ship?

Hi! Booked our first cruise on the Glory- 8/16/03. My youngest son (he is 11) is a bit afraid of heights and on a recent school field trip to a battleship, he commented that he was a little afraid because the ship was so high. I never even considered the height of the ship to be a problem and I booked a balcony room for us.

Does it seem like you are very high up on a cruise ship?
For those of you who are afraid of heights has this been a problem?

Hi Karen,
I'm not really that crazy about heights, but being on a cruiseship was not a problem, hopefully not for your son too. You'll just have to see how it goes, think its better that you do have a balcony, good luck and hope you all have a great time.
