Considering booking AOS for March 2004 w/ my husband and then 5 year old daughter and we were wondering if they offered freedom of choice dining like they do on Grand Princess? I did a quick scan of their website and couldn't find any mention of it.
We had originally booked early seating in order to get our daughter fed & back up to the Kid's program on the Grand Princess but after meeting our VERY OLD and not so friendly tablemates(we were actually very surprised that we were not paired up with other families) who were not amused by the antics of our 4 yr old daughter we asked to be switched to their flexible dining option and it worked out FANTASTIC. We liked not having to stress about getting to the table on time!
Laura:
You can eat in the buffet area for dinner at anytime, but three are still two main dinner seating options in the main restaurants aboard AOS. There is also a Johnny Rockets on the ship (burgers, etc) that is open for dinner -- no res needed.
My 7 year old loved AOS last year -- the ship is great for families and the youth program is tops.
Smooth sailing,
