We are considering taking an Alaskan cruise with a group of friends. Will there be much for them to do? How many other kids? We just returned from a western Carribean cruise on the Explorer of the Seas with RCCL on Saturday. Which ship or cruise line would be best for kids? The children range in age from 7-17.
I read an article on cruise mates about traveling Alaska with kids. I would like to hear from some of you who have experienced it recently!!
Hi Kayla:
I'm the one who wrote the article on the home page about cruising Alaska with kids. As the article details, there is plenty to do with kids. Actually, your kids ages 7 to 17 are the perfect age to participate in the many active shore activities in Alaska. It's really a trip of a lifetime. While Explorer of the Seas has tons of manmade fun, an Alaska cruise has lots of things to do in the great outdoors.
Let me know if you have add'l Q's.
Smooth sailing,
