Goff's Caye with 4 year old?

Sailing Celebrity Galaxy 9/12 with 4 year old daughter. I have been to all of the other ports and know what I am doing every place else BUT Belize.

I have contacted some of the places like Reggie's Tours and none have excursions for her age.

I was wondering if anyone had taken the ship excursion to Goff's Caye? It says there is a beach and snorkeling. Is the boat ride long or choppy? Is this something a 4 year old can handle? It is $200 for the 3 ofus and would be a waste of money if it was not suitable for her.....

What about the shopping at the pier? Is it safe to take her there? Have heard that Belize City is "shady" at best.

I haven't been to Belize yet so I'd love to hear your input after your return. I'd wait to book that tour until you get on the ship and ask the shore excursions desk about if it's suitable for a child. They are usually pretty honest.
