Is it true that topless sunbathing is allowed on the top deck of Carnival ships? We are considering a Carnival Cruise on the Conquest in Spring, 2004 (4th cruise, 1st Carnival). I am not too hip on topless sunbathers on a family cruise. Any one know?
Yup, this is true. However, it is in a specific spot on the top deck and it is blocked off from view. The only way you or anyone else in your family would see anything is if you went through the door that sais topless deck or something like that. I have been on two Carnival cruises and you don't even notice it is there. It is not the entire top deck, just a small inclised section. Hope that helps!!
Yes, it's true, but it's way up top. It's a tiny deck area that's high up w/ signs near the steps warning you before you go up. You will be fine near the pools & on the "main" top deck.
I have been on a Carnival ship that had topless sunbathing. It is very tasteful and totally appropriate for families. The topless sunbathing is on the top deck up VERY STEEP stairs and shut off by a gate at the bottom of the stairway. There is absolutely no way that anyone could accidentally come upon any topless sunbathers.
You would not even know that it existed if you did not happen upon a sign.
