I am planning on a 10 night cruise on the Galaxy in September 2004. My son will be 23 months old.
Two things - I assume that we will pay the same amount as a 12 year old, right?
Also, I read some things on here about Disney Cruises and even RCCL being good and family friendly. Does anyone have anything to report on "rules and regs" on Celebrity with regard to kids? (i.e.: swimming with a swimmy diaper in the kiddy pool, babysitting, etc)
Hi Megan:
THe good thing about Celebrity is that they and Royal Caribbean are some of the few lines which offer private babysitting. So even though your child is too young for the youth program, you can hire a private babysitter if you want a quiet dinner with your spouse one night. We've done this before and have had good experiences.
While most lines post signs that diapers aren't allowed in the pools, most don't have anyone regulating it. Bring some swim diapers with you and it probably should be okay.
Smooth sailing,
