I read in a post of yours in another thread that your contacts at RCI said that the babysitting age has now been lowered to 6 months. I just called RCI and was told otherwise. We are leaving next week to cruise on Mariner's maiden voyage with our 8 month old and 9 year old and I just wanted to double check with you. Did your contact say that the age limit is for all ships? Is this something new that maybe the person I spoke to didn't know about?
Hmmm...It was one when I was aboard 1-1/2 years ago but then a reader here said that their 8 month old used the babysitting, so I asked my contacts and they said it had been lowered to 6 months. I can try to double check with my contacts however they are introducing a new ship and they may be hard to reach. I'll let you know if I have any luck.
Re: Re: Royal Carribean babysitting age limit- Luisa
Okay, nevermind. We are actually going to be on that new ship that they are introducing on the 16 and I just called again and asked the customer service rep (or whatever they are called) and she said 1 year. I asked her to double check with her supervisor and you are right, it is now 6 months. I just hope that when I book the babysitting, the people in charge on the Mariner also know that it has changed to 6 months! I'm not getting my hopes up, though. I'll come back here and let you know if we have any trouble.
