We'll be cruising for the first time to the Mexican Riviera easter week and need advice on choosing ships.
Teens are 14 and 17 yr girls. What I can tell from research is that Vision has teen programs to 17 yrs old but costs a bit more. ( ok if its a better ship) Carnival Pride is a newer ship but only lists activities up to 15 years old. What do the older teens do? Is there a disco or place to hang out?
Want to make this a great expereince for them as we had to cancel once due to a broken leg! Thanks for any advice!
Go for RCCL Vision of the Seas. Carnival's youth program only goes until 15 years and then there are just a few social activities for the 16 and 17 year olds (going to shows together, etc.) RCCL's ships are excellent for active teens -- basketball courts, mini golf courses, rock walls. You'll have a great time!
Smooth sailing,

Re: Re: rccl vision or carnival pride with 2 teens?
Thanks for the advice ! I did lean more toward RCCL..... thanks! Not that they would want to do many structured activities just hanging out til the wee hours is what they are looking for!
