Default NCL Dream vs. Carnival Elation

We want to take our parents on a cruise next January. Four different families will be going, ages 2 to 75. We have narrowed it to NCL Dream or Carnival Elation out of Texas. NCL has more (better?) stops, Carnival has a better dining plan for us to all eat together. Any opinions on which cruise would be best? Thanks.

Carnival seems to have the stronger youth program for the kids in your group. They also have a number of family activities for the kids to do with parents and/or grandparents (family craft night, family disco party, name that tune game night, etc) which would probably be a fun thing to do with your intergenerational group.
smooth sailing,
