We will be traveling on Carnival Valor on 9/4/05 to the Western Caribbean does anyone have any suggestions for excursions we will be traveling w/our 2 three year olds. Also, how do dinners work on Carnival? Do the children eat in the main dining room w/their parents? Thanks so much!
What ports do you call at? We recently went on W. Carib w/our 3 year old and mostly took cabs to beaches. In G. Cayman, the calm water was perfect at Seven Mile Beach as it was at Mr. Sanchos Beach in Cozumel.

Honestly-the beach is your best bet. Long bus rides, or boring tours will not make for a happy 3 yr old! We take our son, now 3.5 into town to walk around and shop, then head to a beach. He loves playing in the sand, and body surfing. We bring along some cheap construction trucks (small ones) and his lifejacket (cant use the ships). We rent loungers and an umbrella. Last time, he tried snorkeling and loved it (he didnt use the snorkel though). If we head back to Cayman, we will take him to Stingray City. He loves to swim too, so theres no fear of the water.
We went to golfs Caye in Belize. We took the tender in and booked it on shore. They tour company took us to the Caye and we hung out on the beach cought hermit crabs and not much else. DH did snorkel some but we mostly just enjoyed the beach. The size of a football field by the way.
