Default crusing with a 20 year old

anyone know what a 20 year old will have to do to keep busy on the carnival I have heard that the drinking age is 21 how strictly enforced is that. I don't want to encourge underage drinking but see no problem with having a few beers. We went on the RCL and he was able to have wine and beer at 18.any advise maybe carnival is not the right ship for us

From what I've seen/heard and read, if you buy the the drink, they won't/don't have a problem with this. I'm sure your 20 y/o will find many others in his age bracket to hang out.

I was just on a cruise Carnival Glory and my son is 18 and belive me he did not have a problem hooking up with other teens on the ship! As far as drinking goes teens are very resorcefull and they will have no problem getting drinks on the ship! As for seeing him or her you might be lucky to catch them when they come back to the cabin to change there colths and take a shower other than that they will be in there own world untill the end of the cruise. I tried to get my son to come to our cabin the last night of are cruise and at 3:00 AM went to look for him and low a behold I found him and 100 teens partying on the Lido Deck were they had pizza and drinks! and he did not get back to his cabin till 6:00 AM. So have a good time and don't worrie about your 20 year old.

he can do everything that the adults do except to buy liquor on board.
My son(18yrs old) kept himself busy with sports, arcade, hanging out by the pool and girl-watching.

i am 19 and going on the carnival glory this summer. last summer i was on the conquest when i was 18, and i had plenty to do! at 18 i was able to use the casino, which was really fun. the nightclub is 18+ after 11, drinks are not hard to get at all. the age is 21, but there are plenty of people willing to buy some for you. i met a lot people around my age group, just because you are not in the "teen" group 15 to 17 DOES NOT mean you wont meet people.

I have a 15 yr. old girl and a 20 yr old young man. This will be their 3rd & 2nd cruise. You probably won't see your kids until the last day of the cruise! Like our fellow cruise mate said- "only to change their clothes and shower". I usually just run into mine by chance "Hi mom, Bye mom" kinda thing. They have a ball! My son is especially looking forward to the casino. It will be his first time actually being able to go into one. Where we are from, the legal age is 21.

For me it's like when you take your dog to the park and let them off the leash, they TAKE OFF!!
