Kids on Celebrity Galaxy in October '06?

We are taking our 9 and 11 year old children on the Best of the Mediterranean cruise in Oct. 06. They keep asking if there will be other kids on board. Given that this is during school time I am guessing there won't be many. Has anyone been on this cruise with children or is anyone planning on going? If anyone has gone on this cruise, any suggestions for excursions with kids? They have traveled to Europe before and are excited about visiting the sites?

I doubt there will be many kids aboard. WE sailed Royal Carib Med a few years ago in late Sept. and the few kids on board were mostly little and not in school yet. My daughter was 10 then and still had a great time since she's well traveled and was excited about being in Europe for the first time. I suggest trying to do a little research/immersion ahead of time with the kids (books, on line, etc) about ancient Rome, etc -- or wherever you're calling.
