Fun little tip for O cereals- not just for cruises

I just discovered the other day that if I string a bunch of cheerios onto a pipe cleaner, then twist the ends together to make a ring, it provides a great snack for my child without having to hand them to him one by one or risk a cup full of cereal being dumped on the floor. It also keeps him busy a little longer because it requires breaking or biting the cheerios off one at a time.

And since I also have a three year old, it provides a great craft for her that will be useful for her and her brother.

Not sure if anyone else has tried this before, but I discovered it by accident the other day and thought it would be great for travelling.

I just packed a package of pipe cleaners in my suitcase for our cruise next week.

You can also use thread or better yet, yarn, and pre-make them and store them in zip lock bags.
