Rented car on 4 hawaii island, should we bring carseat?
We need to fly to honolulu first. I am afriad it's too much hassle to bring a carseat to airplane. Is there any place that I can rent a carseat once on board?

It is a requirement that car rental companies have these available for their customers. There may be an extra fee depending on the agency.
Actually it is safer to also use your car seat on the plane as well. This works unless you are planning to bring him/her on as a "lap child".
Yes, if there's any chance you can afford the airfare, get a seat for your child and bring her/his car seat. This is a long flight to HI even from the West Coast and everyone will be happier if your little one has his own seat/car seat.
When my son was a toddler we cruised Hawaii and rented cars in a few ports. It's a very affordable and easy way to go w/kids. We loved driving around Waimea Canyon.
Smooth sailing,

All car rental companies will provide you with a car seat upon request and for a fee. I have done this before without any problems......and it spares you from having to drag a carseat along.
