I am considering an Alaskan cruise this summer with an 11year old, a 7 yera old and a 4 year old. It appears that the 7 and 4 year olds will be grouped together, which concerns me a bit. I know that age-specific activities at those ages are quite different.
Are there specific Princess ships that do a better job with the 4 year olds than others, or should I just stick with RCI?
If there are enough kids, then the 3 to 7 year olds will be split into two groups. It just depends on how many kids are participating -- which you won't know until you get on board! So no easy answer there!

Just got off the Golden Princess. There were probably about 20 kids signed up for the Kids' program. The little bit of time I spent in there with my daughter (18 months) I saw that the younger kids (ages 3 and 4 or so) playing in one area, and the older kids (6 and 7 year olds, etc) playing in another area doing different activities. But that was during "free time". Not sure what it it is like during structured activity time. Hope that helps some.
