Default Cozumel and Costa Maya with 15 mo old

I will be cruising for the first time as a parent. My daughter will be 15 mo old and I realize this will be a much different cruise that I am used too. We will be visiting Cozumel and Costa Maya. Any suggestions for beaches or places to walk around and enjoy the ports?
Thanks!

There are three articles I wrote that might help:
Western Caribbean for Kids
Back to the Beach
Bringing the Baby

You can find them all on the main family page here at Cruisemates.com.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Smooth sailing,

Cozumel if you want to shop a little, bring a stroller. Shopping is right at where you dock. you can also take a cab ride to any of the beaches, very nice.

costa maya, there is a small beach and shopping also right at the dock. the beach has some hammocks and some shady areas as well.

In response to my own question, I recently read that you can rent golf carts in Costa Maya for $15 hour to explore on your own time. They are available right at the port. Nearby there is a local fishing village, Mahjual (sp?), and supposedly there there are beaches, shops, and great local cuisine easily available. I think this sounds perfect!!!
