We sail on Golden Princess April 22 and need to know if we should bring DD's portable crib. We are in stateroom P332 and are concerned about space. If need be, she can sleep on a pallet on the floor, but would like to avoid that if possible.
You need to talk to Princess' res staff directly and order a crib asap. Ask them to make sure that it'll fit in your size cabin. Once we had a nice balcony cabin for 3 people, but the portable crib the cruise line gave us didn't fit in the room. Princess should have a port a crib, thus you shouldn't have to bring yours. But definitely call them soon about reserving one.

Definately reserve a crib in advance through your travel agent of cruise line. We just returned from RC Splendour of the Seas and they provided us with a crib. We booked ithe crib through our travel agent. It was essentially a pack and play, just longer. It fit in our outside room without a problem, just made things a bit tight. Rather than having the bed in the middle of the cabin below the window, our cabin steward pushed the whole bed against the wall and then put the crib against the other wall.

We just got back from our cruise. They did provide a crib, which was a foldable, rigid kind, not a pack-n-play like I was expecting. We were in the process of pushing the bed over to one side so we could put the crib next to the bed and we put the crib in the closet to get it out of the way while we moved the bed. Then we thought, hey, why not leave it there? The closet area was only semi-enclosed and you had to walk though it to get to the bathroom, but it was like DD had her own room, and she (and we) slept better than if she had been next to our bed. There was still plenty of room for our clothes beside the crib, and her clothes hung over the crib. It worked out great and was one of the things that made our room situation very enjoyable. And it left plenty of space in the main room for the stroller to sit in the corner so we did not have to fold and unfold it all the time.
