Could anyone tell me if there is a babysitting service on any of the Royal Caribbean cruise lines? We are a family of 6 adults and 2 kids (ages 1 year one 2 months). I know there is a youth program, but I think our grandkids will be too young for that. Any ideas would be VERY helpful.
I know they do offer a babysitting service, and unlike the kids club, there is an hourly charge for this. Check with the cruiseline for the exact amount per hour or possibly, your travel agent would know.
In cabin sitting is available, and it runs $8.00 per hour for one child/$10 hourly for two. The issue you are going to have is that they will not accept children under one year old. Too bad you can't bring a neice or nephew along to provide sitting at night in exchange for free room and board and free reign during the times you don't need their services.
I've used RCI's babysitting and was pleased with it. However, as Beenie Weenie points out, your child has to be at least one year old for private babysitting.
Smooth sailing,
