Hal Kids club hours

Has anyone had recent experience on HAL or Eurdam and can tell me about the kids club hours? I think I read somewhere that it is open in like 2 hour sections. I am wondering if it is open while we are in Port so that my husband and I can do a trip without the kids. I know they are avaible in port days on Disney and Carnival.

HAL has standard youth program hours. Usually they're 9 to noon; 2 to 5; and 7 to 10 p.m. with group babysitting afte 10 p.m.

And yes, they have the youth program while the ships are in port so you can explore without your kids ashore if you desire.

Overall, we enjoyed HAL.

Just back and Luisa was right about the hours. They had hours in the a.m., afternoon and evening - basically made you get them out for meals! And they were open the whole time we were in port, like other lines do.
