Was your 2y11m old son potty trained? lol

We would be cruising with the kids when they are each a month away from turning 3 and 5. DD was pt'd at 26mos but I've heard boys can take a lot longer. It would be a shame to not be able to use the pools if DS is not PTd by then but c'mon by almost 3yo? He'll be there, right??!! Right??!! lol

He should be, but for some reason it seems boys are a bit slower when it comes to this. Mine was finally trained a bit before 3, where daughter was way before 2....go figure?

It sure would be..don't laugh, but, try tossing some cherios into the toilet. Boys love the shoot em down game... My boys thought, hmm what fun!

By cruise time, maybe he will only need help at night, but, during the day be fine..good luck, and, come back and let us know how 'game' went, and, the cruise too!

Thank you, Trip! I'll have to try that when the time comes. He is only 13mos now And good point, PP - it is very likely he'd be at least day trained by then. Okay PHEW I can get back to my 4/2013 plan, thanks all!

My son was potty-trained about a week after his 2nd birthday. His (older) sister, was trained by about 2 1/2.


In my family the boys (all second born) have trained faster than their sisters.
