Default getting off the ship

Two more months to go, still questions keep on coming up. When the ships are in port, can we get on and off throughout the day if we do not plan on going on the ship's excursions and just want to wander on our own for a couple of hours??

Yes, we usually go to a beach in the morning if on a Caribbean itinerary, return for a late lunch, then go into town to look around or shop. I always research an area we are sailing to and note the attractions to see. If we can do a self-guided walking tour, we try to do that or hire a taxi for a few hours to tour and stop for a cool drink before we return to the ship. Planning your trip is half of the fun.
Bon Voyage

You can get on and off when you wish - just make sure you return before the ship leaves. There is usually lots of see within walking or taxi distance.

In ports where the ship docks at the pier, u can get on and off whenever you like. In ports where the ships use tenders, those with ship's excursions do get priority so u may have to wait just a bit til they announce open tenders. Then u can come and go as u please.
