Default The image of cruising

Hi,

I am a student studying in my last year of university and i am conducting a dissertation on the image of cruising and whether it has changed or not?

If it has changed why? etc

Please if anybody has any comments or opinions to make about this query please feel free to email me.

Many thanks

Default RE: The image of cruising

The Cruise and the Cruise Ship of today is not only a vacation but a floating resort which may stop at numerous ports. People from all walks of life and income brackets can now better afford to vacation on a cruise. In many year's past, the cruise ship was utilized by the rich primarily and others only for passage from one country to another as a mode of transportation rather than relaxation. Today it is known as an "all inclusive vacation" where your accommodations, food, entertainment and often airline transportation are all included in one fee. Activities galore are offered to you on a daily basis from the options of purchasing pre-arranged tours in foreign ports of call, to exercise spa programs, to dance lessons, gambling lessons and even playing bingo. There is something for all ages to do or places on board where one can just relax and do nothing.
