Default snorkelling ...

Hi!

I'm going on RCCL Eastern Caribbean cruise and wondering where are the best places to go snorkelling. Our stops are ....

Labadee
San Juan
St. Thomas
Nassau

Any input would be appreciated.

:-)

Hi Tanya,
When in St.Thomas take the Red Hook ferry over to St. John's for some great snorkeling. Once at St. Johns, you can get a taxi over to Trunk Bay where they have a marked underwater trail. You can also rent snorkeling equipment and they have changing facilities. Well worth going, enjoy.

new guy here again.
can a person take snorkling lessons on board? I'm a flatlander, never seen an ocean, and would love to experience more water than a bathtub! I'm sure there is some skill to this; they just don't throw people in the water and say " SNORKLE!"

Hi Lawrence,
I think your best bet is to do one of the ship excersions that is a snorkeling tour.
They will give you a lesson and once you get the hang of it, you'll love it I'm sure.
Its really easy and I always wear a floatie thing, I can then stay out there for hours, its really a lot of fun and so much to see, give it a try:-) There even may be a snorkeling lesson on boards the ship, check out in the daily activities.
