question about cabin assignments

My mother and I have booked through expedia.com and were wondering if not getting your flight or cabin numbers until 7 days before sail date is usual and customary

Hi Tracy,
Yes, it is usual to get your cruise docs about 2 weeks prior to the cruise and all the information should be in there. If you booked a guarantee cabin assignment, sometimes you have to wait til you get to the pier. I would call then a week before if you don't recieve anything.
